Dartford Catering is a Rational specialist, established in 1997. For almost 30 years, we’ve built our reputation on expert knowledge, great service and a personal approach.
Unlike many commercial catering companies, we focus solely on Rational ovens, with our experienced engineering team providing servicing, repairs, preventative maintenance and installations across London and the South East.
What We Are Looking For
✓ Gas Safe registered / suitably qualified
✓ CCCN1
✓ COMCAT 5
✓ Experience working on Rational combi ovens
✓ Happy travelling throughout Kent and London
✓ Full UK driving licence

Competitive Salary
We offer a competitive salary based on experience, taking into account your qualifications, technical knowledge and experience working with Rational equipment. The more experience you bring to the role, the more we’re prepared to recognise it.

What You'll Be Doing
A typical week will include servicing, fault-finding and repairing Rational combi ovens across customer sites in Kent and London, along with planned preventative maintenance and installation or warranty work where required.
You’ll be working independently out on the road, but you’ll have the support of the Dartford Catering office and engineering team behind you.
1-in-7 Weekend on Call
Our engineers share a 1-in-7 weekend on-call rota, so your weekends remain your own most of the time. It’s not a 24-hour service, and any hours worked while on call are paid at overtime rates, plus a day in leiu.
How often? → 1 weekend in 7
Am I on call all night? → No
Do I get paid extra? → Yes, overtime rates
